من أبوين مصريين من أعلام الفن فى مجال التمثيل هما الفنان كرم مطاوع والفنانة سهير المرشدى.

Birth: She was born in Cairo, and has attained the licentiate of Arts, Sociology Department, Ain Shams University.

Her mother has discovered her talent at age three years old as she was reciting the songs immediately after being heard. So she encouraged her and presented her to the TV programs at age eight years old.

He is graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Animation Department in 1978. He completed his postgraduate studies in Massachusetts College of Arts and in School of Public communication, Boston University. In 1987, he has attained MFA from A Disney School for Animation in California Institute of the Arts – United States of America.
